…becuz—as of late—i have gotten a lot of questions regarding whether or not i teach or if i would be open to teaching music lessons, i have decided to write a handbook on learning music as a guide to introduce you, the reader, to a new perspective on the topic of studying music.
the issue, dear reader, is this: i am unconventional in my approach to music. all of Hal Leonard’s teaching materials are essentially variations of the same essence, meaning that, if people are still struggling to learn to play, then what is needed is a new method.
so here it is…an attempt at creating a user-friendly & thought-provoking manual for learning music. as i stated earlier, it is intended to be guide book to teaching yourself…becuz let’s face it: teachers can teach theory, but the application thereof is entirely up to the students. music is one of those rare disciplines that only & ever manifests when the magic of theoretical application is properly embodied by the budding musician. or else, no music happens. so, you must understand that you must learn to teach yourself. and i hope this handbook will set you on the right path. chapters will be published as they are written. and as it is with the rest of the material available on the Noise Factory website, audio & visual, if you appreciate my work, then please donate!
